Rald Institute has provided in kind and volunteer services
for at risk and special needs children citywide since the mid 1980s, using
certified, licensed specialists (e.g., Reading and Behavior Specialists, Speech
Pathologists, Social Workers, Psychologists) with experience monitoring schools
and advocating for children. Additionally, Rald Institute provides art workshops and exhibitions that
promote positive self-esteem via creative expression and cultural awareness.
Rald Institute’s historical use of art as an
interdisciplinary vehicle for instruction assures that children of all ability
levels and learning styles including visual can learn in self-directed
approaches, both in schools and in out of school workshops and exhibitions.
